PROJECTS/AWARDS
Mathematical Modeling of a GaAs Solar Cell (Masters of Engineering), Wright State University, Ohio under the supervision of Dr. James Menart
This research work was performed for understanding the kinetics of a Photo-voltaic cells. This involves working with the transport equations to predict the current density at various location of a p-n junction GaAs semiconductor. As a direct derivative of this research, we were able to predict the charge carriers at different layers of a GaAs semiconductor and this provided insight to improve the efficiency of solar cell. This research helped us understand the behavior of the solar cells under illumination and in the dark as well.
Value Analysis & Its Application on Kinetic Honda (Bachelor of Engineering), RGPV, India under the supervision of Dr. A.K. Singh
A value analysis is done on the Kinetic Honda, two-wheeler motor bike to improve the value of the product. The concepts of Operation Research along with Work Study are utilized at the production site. The problem of the suspension system was resolved using simple techniques. The added value of the project improved the sales of the product in the market.
Literature Review on Hydrogen & its use in SI Engines, University of Southern Queensland, Australia under the supervision of Dr. Talal Yusuf
A literature review was performed to understand the applicability of using hydrogen as a fuel in SI engines. A thorough research was performed to understand the combustion procedure of hydrogen inside the engine. A laboratory test was performed on the exhaust gases coming out during the combustion process in SI engine.
Design of Molten iron pouring vessel to avoid risk of accidents, Bhilai Steel Plant, India under the supervision of Mr. Kulwant Singh
The AutoCAD 2000 software was used effectively to alter the shape of the metal pouring vessel. The accidental hazard of tilting of the vessel during pouring operation in Bhilai Steel Plant was resolved effectively. The extended clamps on the edges restricted the movement of the vessel to just one degree of freedom, thus avoiding the accidents.
Dean’s Commendation for Outstanding Performance, 2009, University of Southern Queensland
This award is presented to the outstanding student for the year and I received it based on my excellent grades and project work in the department of mechanical engineering.

Graduate Assistantship/Scholarship
I received a Graduate Assistant position in Wright State University for my excellent academic performance that covered my course fees and included monthly stipend
